Hancock Community Education Alliance, Inc.
Annual Giving and Education Commitment Program
The HCEA is a partnership of education, business and community stakeholders focused on our community learning system, economic development and quality of life that fosters a strong linkage between economic development, education and workforce training. The HCEA has established partnerships with universities and community colleges to bring “just in time training” to our business community, along with certificate, associate and bachelor degree programs to those citizens seeking post-secondary education opportunities.
Local post-secondary education, certification training and workforce development training offers a realistic and positive way for people and organizations to respond to the challenges facing our community and workplaces. Lifelong learning impacts the quality in our communities and aids in the advancement of economic development. Distance, time and cost often present obstacles to learning.
The HCEA overcomes those obstacles by linking people and organizations with educational opportunities. From college degree programs and business skills development to career counseling and lifelong learning we bring those opportunities to you.
