The Hancock County Community Foundation is pleased to present two grant opportunities from the White Family Foundation Fund. The White Family Foundation Fund, a fund of the Hancock County Community Foundation, supports initiatives that enhance the desire to live, work, and play in Shirley, Indiana and surrounding areas. Eligible applicants are defined as public, tax-exempt organizations by Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. If you do not have a 501(c)(3) status, you may enter into an agreement with a qualified non-profit that will act as your fiscal agent. Eligible organizations will be in good standing with the Foundation, meaning evaluation reports on all previous grants have been filed.
One common application is available online for both grant opportunities. Applicants must complete the online application, available at giveHCgrowHC.org, by June 6, 2014.
The first grant opportunity seeks projects which involve creative Christmas light and animated displays during the month of December 2014.
