2014 HCCF Grant Opportunities
The Hancock County Community Foundation will accept applications this spring that position nonprofits for greater capacity to achieve their organization’s mission more effectively. HCCF defines capacity building as a way to strengthen the ability of nonprofits to serve our community through the improvement of capabilities, knowledge or resources.
Eligible applicants are defined as public, tax-exempt organizations by Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code, who serve Hancock County. Churches or units of government are not eligible to apply to this grant cycle. Grants made will be one‐time grants to be used within one year of the award date, and grant amounts will be determined by the type of grant(s) the organization is seeking.
Organizations who wish to apply for a grant during the Spring Grant cycle are required to submit a Letter of Intent by 4:00pm on April 9, 2014, and eligible applicants are required to have a representative attend the Grant Workshop on April 23, 2014. View the Letter of Intent and more information at giveHCgrowHC.org/grants/how-to-apply.
2014 Available Rotary Grants
The Greenfield Rotary Clubs are offering, through a grant process, approximately $25,000 from the net proceeds of this Steak’n Bake’n Raffle for operating grants to organizations providing Humanitarian and Charitable Services within Hancock County. Organizations can be tax exempt or non-tax exempt. Grants will be operational grants ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 per organization. Grants cannot be used for Capital projects, Employee travel, Employee bonuses or Employee educational programs or seminars.
Organizations will not be eligible for a 2014 grant, if they have received funds during each of the three preceding years from either of the Rotary Clubs. Organizations must submit completed applications by March 15, 2014 to be considered for a 2014 Rotary Grant. Grants will be awarded by May 1, 2014. All applications should be mailed or e-mailed to: Rotary Club of Greenfield, Attn: Dave Anders, PO Box 1, Greenfield, IN 46140 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
